Allied Motion Selected to University at Buffalo Fast 46
|
AMHERST, N.Y., October 7, 2021 -- Allied Motion Technologies Inc. (Nasdaq: AMOT) (“Allied Motion” or the “Company”), a designer and manufacturer of precision and specialty controlled motion products and solutions for the global market, announced today that the Company was named to the University at Buffalo’s (“UB”) inaugural Fast 46 competition during a ceremony held on Thursday, September 30. Named in honor of UB’s founding in 1846, the UB Fast 46 program was created to recognize and celebrate the success of 46 of the fastest-growing businesses owned or led by UB alumni or former students around the world. Dick Warzala, Chairman of the Board, President and CEO of Allied Motion, graduated from the University at Buffalo with a Bachelor’s in Business in 1980 and a Master of Business Administration degree in 1982. “My experiences in the classroom and on campus have played an integral part throughout my career and it is an honor to have been selected among such innovative and entrepreneurial spirited companies,” commented Dick Warzala. “The rankings were established based on the percentage of revenue growth over a defined period and despite Allied having a higher level of base business as the starting point, we were successful in competing against a landscape of mostly fast track entrepreneurial companies. Driving growth over an extended period and maintaining our ability to compete with such companies is a testament to our team and further validates our long-term strategy and the commitment we have made to our AST toolkit to drive continuous improvements in Quality, Delivery, Innovation and Cost.” Companies were ranked by the percentage of cumulative annual growth in revenue for the three most-recent 12-month reporting periods as confirmed by The Bonadio Group, the official verification firm for Fast 46. To qualify for the Fast 46, companies must have been in business for three or more years; have verifiable revenues of at least $100,000 or more in 2017 and 2018 and at least $250,000 in 2019; and the owner, CEO, president, managing partner or chairman must be UB alumni or former student.
